Happy New Year's to everyone...

I am very excited that in just hours we will be in 2009 and I so ready for it. I am still working on my resolutions, but even if I dont have any, I am so ready for a New Year! I hope everyone has an amazing New Years Eve. Me and my friends are going downtown early and start the drinking, and then we are headed back to one of my girlfriend's house to do fireworks... I am really excited about it, cause I am ready for 2009! Anyways, have a Happy New Year!

I was thinking about it today and I know its pretty risky, but I think I am going to try to wear shorts in the winter...I know you are wondering what I mean, but I mean like the pic above. I am going to wear some of my camel colored shorts with tights and instead of high boots, I am going to wear with a Hanes T and some booties that I have never worn before... I was wondering what shoes would have gone well with shorts, but this pics was such main inspiration and I am def going to wear it this week....

I love this pic, cause this outfit is so so cute. It seems like something that can easily be mimicked, but also it is very simple.
Whenever it hits a new year, I always take time out to clean my closet, so it is reaching that time and this year, I am actually excited. I have never quite had a wardrobe as big as I have now, so I am xcited to purge my closet. I think it will be nice to get everything completely organized. I will tell you how it all goes.
FYI, I went to Forever 21 today and it was like a danger zone, they had no shoes in my size and it was overhwelming, but I did splurge and got a various amount of rings (my new addiction) and a headband with a flower to the side, so I was pretty content at the end of the day.... Anyways, came up with a new idea of what I am going to wear for new years and I will post pics...you will b surprised!xoxo

IPOD picks...

I love my ipod and I am totally addicted to it, it is one of the best gifts I have ever received. Anyways, I love ALL kinds of music and lately I have been addicted to the following artists, the following have been my most recent adds to my ipod:


Frou Frou- the song "let go" was amazing to me. I heard the song on the movie "The Holiday" and went crazy looking for it. They are absolutely amazing.


Feist- I never thought that she would have any other songs that I would like other that "1,2,3,4", but she has an amazing voice and her song "Mushaboom" is great and so different.



Paramore- They are great,all of their songs are great, but I love that they have a distinctive sound and "Decode" just makes me crazy, I think this is one song I continually repeat.


Adele- She is my #1; everything about her voice is amazing. Her CD "19" is great and she has a soulful voice. I like her style and that she doesnt care what anyone else thinks. One of my favorite songs from the album is "Tired"

Hi loves,
I didnt forget about you, I just truly enjoyed my holidays and went MIA. But I am back. I am so excited, because we only have a few more days until 2009. How exciting! Anyways, I got a little holiday bonus (yay!), so I am going to get something that I really want, just not quite sure what it is yet. I will be headed to Forever 21 for some more jewelry and I think tomorrow, I am going to head to my fav thrift store and rack up on more outfits. I am excited about it! Exciting!!!

Hi loves, how are you all? First of all, let me say TGIF and I am done with school until next year.Yay! Anyways, I went to Target last night and bought a 3 pack of men's t shirts and I actually like them. I do think that I might need to get a boys L, because I have a men's small and there a bit big, but they are comfy and I can see myself really creating some fun outfits with them. I wore one of the shirts today with a GAP blazer, some boyfriend jeans cuffed and some platforms and lots of ghetto gold jewelry, so it is such a fun outfit. Anyways, I am impressed, cause it makes an outfit just as sexy as wearing a dressy top. I lvoe myself for doing something I would never do...

Personal Note...

Before I write and post for the day, I just want to address the new year that will be coming in. Lovelies, we are about to be in 2009, it is literally around the corner and 2008 has been a hell of a year. So many unexpected bad things happened to me this year, but that is what makes me excited about a New year, because by the grace of god things will be different. All I want to say to all of you is make sure in the midst of everything that is important to each of you, take some time out to "do you". All my single people, don't settle, even though it is hard. Make sure that you take this new year to appreciate yourself for all that you are, because we are amazing people. Keep motivated to keep moving forward. One of the best things I learned in 2009 (other than my fashion style), is that as my friends, family, men, etc. If you are not generally down for me and there to be support, I refuse to deal with you, because I refuse to have people bring me down. I have my own issues in my life and I dont want to be dragged down by anyone. I also realized this year that I appreciate myself and I proud that I kept moving forward in the midst of things. Anyways, I dont mean to just talk and talk, but I just want us lovelies in 2009 to be strong and be the best we can be and appreciate you. Happy New Year!

Rainy Day...

It is not a good day. It has been rainy nonstop since Monday and this is finals week. I have my first final today and I am not near ready along with turning in an incomplete website. Tattoo

I finally think I know what I am going to do for my next tattoo....

Of course, it will be small, cause I am not willing to endure that kind of pain ever again. I think that I am going to do a small "J" in a nice cursive on the inside of my arm before you get to my hand. That way it is small, but cute and not ghetto. I love this outfit. It gives me tons of ideas of ways I can sexy up certain pieces in my wardrobe. I think that I am giong to invest in basic tees, like Hanes tees or Express basic tees, because people are beginning to pair up dressy outfits with basic tees and it still has a sexy look. I think that is a cheap and chic idea...xoxo

BTW, on Friday while I was in WalMart, I bought the new Maybelline XXL Extensions Mascara and let me tell you what I thought...


It was really really cool! It gives you the look as though you glued on lashes, but much easier. It does add extensions on your lashes when you brush your lashes. The thing I like the MOST about it is the fact that it seperates your lashes really really good. It makes my eyes look like they had a makeover. I'm impressed! Its only about $7, so its worth a try....
